25 LIVE stadium tour #1: Coimbra (Portugal)

Today’s the day: the first concert of the stadium-part of the the 25 LIVE tour.
I feel sad I’m not there, but I’ve already spent so much money that I stopped buying at four (concerts) this time.

And to be honest, I’m thinking of selling those. I mean, what’s the point of going to "only" four concerts, and miss the rest??

I’ll keep the weblog updated, but I’m afraid that I won’t be as involved as a few months ago…

I haven’t heard or seen news and pics of Coimbra yet, btw

Continuation 25LIVE tour announced

Ok,

so 25 LIVE is to be continued. As expected, but for sure since last week. And yes, the first few tickets have already been bought, for unbelievable (expensive) prices, but hey!

And my contribution to the tour will probably be less than last year’s contribution. "Amount" speaking. "Money wise" it will probably be the same.

Ok, so this is George’s schedule (for now):

26 June, Amsterdam Arena, Holland (Circle Of Faith)

Thanks to Herma, Nicole and Geraldine for thinking of me!

My Christmas present to myself: the DVD (at last!)

So there.
I risked my general health today to go to the city (hey! could make a great song out of this one!) with my head-like-a-cement-brick, and buy the Twenty Five DVD.
Good thinking: the last Saturday before Christmas!

In the end it wasn’t so bad: 25 (ha! coincidence…) minutes at the pay desk of Media Markt.

And now I’m gonna wrap it up (hey! could make a great song out of this one!) and put it under the Christmas tree. Yes, a Chistmas tree came floating in and it’s decorated and everything!
Good, eh?
Anway, day after tomorrow I may open my present.
Exciting!

Hibernation…

I awakened from my hibernation today. That is: I’ve been sleeping from on Monday until just a while ago. With a head like a cement brick (noooooooo, not drunk!) and very small eyes. And oh yeah that’s right, no voice. Pretty useless.
Oh well, I did "live" it all, let’s keep it like that.

Meanwhile, they Round House concert has happened, you know, for the nurses. Now George can tumble in his hibernation as well…

Haha: Ridgeley too nervous (contactmusic)

RIDGELEY TOO NERVOUS FOR WHAM! REUNION
GEORGE MICHAEL was left disappointed on Sunday night (17DEC06) when his planned WHAM! reunion failed to materialise – because ANDREW RIDGELEY was reportedly too nervous to take to the stage. The former pop duo last performed together 20 years ago (86) and were due to be reunited at Michael’s concert at London’s Wembley Arena gig. But Ridgeley dropped out at the last moment, overcome with anxiety, according to British newspaper The Sun. A source says, "George had pleaded with Andrew to join him on stage to play a couple of Wham! songs. "But Andrew was so sick with nerves at the thought of appearing on stage after all these years, he backed out."
